The Bangladesh High Commissioner to Mauritius Rezina Ahmed presented her Letter of Credence to the President of the Republic of Madagascar Andry Rajoelina on 04 March 2020 as a non resident Ambassador of Bangladesh to Madagascar. During the ceremony, they discussed on several bilateral issues and agreed to work together for developing trade, business and investment. The President thanked the Government of Bangladesh for giving shelter to the Rohingya's and he assured of continued support in this regard. He said that the Rohingya issue is a crime against humanity and that his government is always against any form of genocide.
